About Dr. Rayl

Jeffrey M. Rayl, D.D.S.
Dr. Rayl graduated from Creighton University’s Boyne School of Dental Science in 1980 after receiving his undergraduate degree in microbiology from the University of Kansas in 1974. He has spent more time and energy investing in post graduate education than in receiving his original degrees. He has completed the following post graduate dental education:

  • Myotronics Educational Institute for Neuromuscular Dentistry, 1982
  • Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study, St. Petersburg, Florida, 1988
  • The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, the nation’s premier educational establishment for esthetic dental training, 1998
  • Level 4 graduate status  from Orthognathic  Bioesthetics International (Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry), an honor bestowed on fewer than 150 dentists worldwide, thus making Dr. Rayl one of the very few dentists internationally to have completed training in all 4 major philosophies of dental occlusion and full mouth rehabilitation. His extensive training has built his expert reputation in diagnosing and treatment of TMJ/TMD/Orthodontic problems in adults and children.
  • After receiving his Level 4 status with OBI he was appointed to their faculty and has authored the OBI Foundation’s Oral Biology curriculum which is taught to all dentists enrolled in OBI’s curriculum.
  • Certification in Intravenous Conscience Sedation from Montifiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY.
  • Dr.  Rayl was the first general dentist in the United States to complete Microscopic Endodontic training at the Pacific Endodontic Research Foundation, San Diego, CA.

In 2004 he founded CABODENT (The Center for Advanced Biologic Orthodontics and Dento-Facial Esthetics) which has as its mission to change the standard of care in the orthodontic profession worldwide. CABODENT teaches dental professionals worldwide Biologic Orthodontic Therapy via a 2-year mini-residency program. The curriculum teaches dental professionals to incorporate diagnosis of the jaw joints, facial esthetics, airway, orthopedics of the head and neck along with alignment of the teeth and development of smile esthetics when diagnosing and treatment planning all patients, adults and children alike.
